In filing Tesla has claimed that Mr. Hothi has injured a security guard at Giga Factory in a hit-and-run incident, and also nearly caused a traffic accident while pursuing a test model of Model 3 during a test run on April 16. They have expressed a belief that \u201crestraining order against Mr. Hothi is necessary and appropriate to protect its employees at their workplace.\u201d Further claiming that the company was forced to choose between employees\u2019 safety and exposing their personal conversation to the public. Thus, the document states, the company has decided to pursue the safety of its employees \u201cby other means\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And what those other means could be should make people worried, as the history of Tesla\u2019s retaliation against its critics illustrates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Teslas_claims_fall_short\"><\/span>Tesla\u2019s claims fall short<br><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly after the Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting has published a piece alleging that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revealnews.org\/article\/how-tesla-and-its-doctor-made-sure-injured-employees-didnt-get-workers-comp\/\">Tesla is under-reporting the work-related injuries<\/a>, one of the CIR\u2019s insiders have alleged retaliation. But according to the information provided to Mr. Tripp\u2019s attorney and then to Ars the alleged call was made to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/4627599-Loomis.html\">Tesla\u2019s call center in Las Vegas<\/a> and then forwarded to Giga Factory\u2019s head of security, Sean Gourthro. Gourthro then has texted to Story County Chief Deputy Tony Dosen that an anonymous female caller has alerted them that Mr. Tripp is en route to \u201cshoot up Tesla\u201d, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/4627036-Police-Reports-Highlighted.html#document\/p3\/a444354\">per Story County Sheriff&#8217;s Office report<\/a>. According to an in-depth investigation by Bloomberg, when police officers have tracked down Mr. Tripp they have discovered that he presents no danger for Tesla\u2019s employees.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/features\/2019-03-13\/when-elon-musk-tried-to-destroy-tesla-whistleblower-martin-tripp\">He said he was terrified of Musk and suggested the billionaire might have called in the tip himself.
